Considering the region where the volunteer work is done, the Give A Hand Organization is aware that risk is an inherent part of our programs. We visit remote destinations, expose our groups to unfamiliar surroundings, and encourage personal growth and development through new experiences. As a result, before we design each program, we go over possible security threats and alter our programs accordingly. All the volunteer work will be done either in collaboration with a university or with relevant permissions from the Ministry of Education.

Throughout our programs, the Give A Hand Organization constantly collaborates with the local security officials. Programs are organized with the knowledge of the official security force and permissions from the local authorities. All the information concerning the volunteers is given to the authorities, and the area is controlled by the local security prior to the arrival of the volunteers. If there is any report of danger, the program is modified.
